The Executive Network (TEN provides executive search and interim management services at senior management, management board and Board of Supervisory Directors/Supervisory Board level. Technical information and cookies
You can visit our website (www.ten.nl) without giving us any personal data. Our website uses cookies from Google Analytics to generate statistical data on the number of visitors to our website and the different pages. The site also generates a cookie with your language setting preference for pages of the website. This information cannot be traced back to individuals. We send out a newsletter to selected contacts regularly, our TEN Trendletter. Also, we approach our relations less frequently, by email, for research/polls on the (labour) market. We keep statistics on this to deduce how often the newsletter has been opened and any linked files have been viewed. This information cannot be traced back to individuals.
When do we collect personal data?
– When we maintain or pursue a business relationship with you and/or your organization;
– When we come across your profile during the mapping of relevant parts of the labour market;
– When you send us your curriculum vitae (CV);
– When you sign up for our TEN Trendletter;
– When you participate in one of our networks (such as the Executive Lounge, HR Board Services, The Leaders Network) or in one of our (jointly) organized events;
– When you participate in one of our trips
Why do we collect your personal data?
(Potential) candidates:
We collect and process your data to deliver our executive search and interim management services, so that we:
– Can assess your availability and general suitability when mediating for a vacancy;
– Can approach and inform you about possible interesting positions;
– Can assess your interest and suitability as a candidate for specific vacancies, e.g. references.
Business relations:
When we maintain or pursue a business relationship with you, we will record contact information and contact moments, so that we can best serve you in:
– fulfilling assignments
– inspiring our network
– building industry and professional knowledge
– sending relevant newsletters (such as the TEN trend letter)
– involving you with our other network activities.
What personal data do we collect?
(Potential) candidates:
– Your name, address, e-mail address and other contact details
– Your current jobtitle(s) and employer(s) and relevant work experience
– Your complete curriculum vitae (when you send that to us)
– Data that relates to assessing your availability and suitability as potential candidate for different vacancies in our portfolio.
Business relations:
– Your name, address, e-mail address and other contact details
– Your current jobtitle(s) and employer(s)
– Participation in one of our (jointly) organized events
With whom can we share your personal data (candidates)?
We share information of potential candidates only with clients relating to vacancies to present an overview of the labour market and to check if they would consider you as a potential candidate for a relevant vacancy. We will only share your CV with a client after discussing this with you and receiving your approval. When you actively approach us for a specific published job vacancy and send your resume and/or cover letter for that position, we consider that response as consent to share your information with the client for that particular vacancy.
Your personal data may be transmitted outside the Netherlands. TEN has taken the necessary precautions to ensure that the shared personal data is protected adequately.
How long will we hold your personal data?
Our retention periods depend on the applicable data protection legislation. Your CV data will be kept for 2 years. We will contact you both after a year and after two years since our last contact to inform you that we have your information in our files. You will have the option to indicate that you allow us to keep your CV for a longer period and/or send us an updated version of your CV. Of course you also have the option at any moment to indicate that you want to withdraw, change or limit your consent to hold your personal data. You can do by sending an email with your wishes to privacy@ten.nl
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your personal information and/or edit it.
Additionally, you have the right to request from us:
– That any inaccurate information we hold about you is corrected
– That information about you is deleted
– That we stop using your personal information for certain purposes
– That your information is provided to you in a portable format
– That decisions about you are not made by wholly automated means

When you send us such a request, we will aim to respond to you as soon as we reasonably can (but no later than one month). We will not charge a fee for dealing with any reasonable request.
If you are unhappy with how we are using your personal information or if you wish to complain about how we have handled a request, then please contact privacy@ten.nl and we will try to resolve your concerns.
Security
TEN takes every precaution to protect your personal data against unauthorized use. We have taken the necessary physical, organizational and technical measures. For example: only authorized users have access to the data and our systems clearly identify if someone has or has not approved the processing of their specific personal information.
