When conducting a non-executive director search we consider the entire non-executive team and carry out a team assessment.

The team values analysis is TEN's tool where work values are determined at an individual level and then compared within a team.

We deploy this tool at the start of a search process and in guiding self-evaluations.

Guidance on self-evaluations

We offer valuable guidance in self-evaluations for both executive and non-executive boards. We are a critical sparring partner and advisor in guiding self-evaluations that serve the learning process of the board and should also lead to clarification and improvement of its own functioning We look not only at governance, structure, and existing expertise among the directors/commissioners but also at board dynamics, behavior, and mutual cooperation. This results in a clear agenda and principles for the coming period.

We guide the entire process and use our team values analysis for additional insight into the work values and the effectiveness of the team.

Interim Management

We are often involved in change management projects where the goal is often to accelerate processes. This may sometimes require the deployment of an experienced interim manager with a proven track record to reduce the risk of delays or derailment.

We have a network of senior interim managers with experience in leading change or transition, who are also analytically strong and quickly effective.

If there is already a vacant position, a combined approach proves beneficial. In such cases, a qualified interim manager can be at work within a week. Often, we start the search process for a permanent candidate simultaneously.
